Description: Doton • Dochuu Senkou is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. After forming the needed hand seals, Kisame can sink below ground and quickly travel through the earth. By extending his Samehada above ground, he gives off the appearance of a shark travelling underground.
Note: This attack allows some mobility underground, however, keep in mind that you can not perform handseals, use jutsu, or perform complicated tasks while submerged.

The ninja will do the necessary hand seals and a chunk of earth will rise from the ground, floating in front of the user. By making another hand seal, the chunck will scatter into small stone bullets that will shoot at the enemy in a rapid, machinegun-like rate.

Description: Katon • Goukakyuu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The ninja does the necessary hand seals, draws chakra from their mouth into their chest and them immediately exhales it. They then blow a stream of fire which erupts into a large sphere of flames. To better manage the flames the ninja will bring their hand to their mouth to control it.

Description: Katon • Housenka no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu techinque utilizing the Fire Element. The ninja does the necessary hand seals and then emits a series of small fire balls. The ninja can also hurl a projectile which is covered in these same flames. To the opponent the attack appears to be only the balls of flame, they do not see the hidden threat within the flames. Meaning that even if the flames are put out, the projectiles still converge on the target. The flames can be used to cover different projectiles like shuriken or kunai.

Description: Tokage no Saisei is a technique available to Rouji in his second form. He can use this to regenerate wounds at the cost of chakra. While minor injuries like cuts, bruises and lesser burn marks take little chakra, the cost gets higher when the injury is more serious. Lost limbs can be regenerated at 10 percent of the users chakra, while damage to organs will cost 50 percent. This jutsu cannot heal a fatal injury. When the heart, brain or any other fatal spots are hit, it’s over.

Description: Katon: Dai Hakaiteki Honoo is a Ninjutsu utilizing the Fire Element. Rouji can use this jutsu by making handseals with all four of his hands. The ninja does the necessary handseals and emits a constant jet of flames from the palms of his hands. The jet continues until the user cancels the jutsu. In Rouji’s case, the four jets of fire will merge together in one bigger jet that is 3 meters thick. The fire is so intense that it will evaporate most water jutsu, making it hard to defend against this jutsu.

Description: Katon: Dai Housenka no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu utilizing the Fire Element. Rouji can use this jutsu by making handseals with all four of his hands. The ninja does the necessary handseals and and then emit a series of small fireballs. The fireballs work like napalm, meaning that when they hit, the target itself will be set aflame.

Academy: When he was only a few months old, Ruuji was left at an orphanage, since his mother was homeless and couldn’t care for him. Because Kirigakure was always in need of new shinobi , the Orphanage would send a few orphans with a healthy and good body, including Ruuji, to the Academy to learn the way of the ninja. Every day after school had ended, Ruuji would watch many of his classmates being picked up by their loving parents. He envied those children, for he knew that after his lonely trip home, he would just be another kid at the orphanage, nothing special in anyones eyes. In order to block out the pain, Ruuji focused completely on his progress as a ninja, spending almost every speck of free time studying and practicing. This made him an outcast, since he never played with other children. Most of the students would simply leave him alone. He graduated the academy when he was thirteen, with one of the highest grades.

Genin: Now a genin, Ruuji was placed in a typical four-man team consisting of three genin and a jounin teacher. Ruuji was the strongest out of the three genin in terms of skill, but was often known to be uncaring towards his teammates. Ruuji, since he had never learned anything about love and friendship and the likes, he claimed that individual ability is all that counts. The other genin started to strongly dislike Ruuji, and the boy was once again an outcast. In the eyes of his sensei and the other adult-shinobi however, this was fine, as Kirigakure was known for its “survival of the fittest”- mentality.

When he was a genin, Ruuji went to his first battlefield. An old castle was reported to serve as a hideout for a large band of bandits now, and Ruuji’s team, along with a few other teams, were sent to deal with it. Kiri had severly underestimated the number of bandits, however, and although all of the jounin managed to stay unharmed, many genin had lost their lives. Ruuji, however, made it out alive simpy by focusing completely on combat and not caring about his teammates. Although many of the young genin were traumatized by the gruesome battle, for Ruuji it was the best thing ever. Having never felt “alive”, because of his grim life, the thrill of battle and the joy of combat made him feel more real than he ever felt before. This began his passion for combat and his bloodthirstiness. Although his jounin captain didn’t approve, saying Ruuji was too selfish to be considered a team captain, he was still promoted to chuunin at the age of 15, shortly after the battlefield.

Chuunin: During his Chuunin times, Ruuji met a person that had great influence on his philosophy. He was placed in a small special team consisting of three other chuunin. Two of the other chuunin were both rude and loudmouthed, nothing but talk. The other chuunin, a girl named Nanako, was a shy and quiet girl. She hardly spoke, and when she did it was usually accompanied by a lot of stuttering and blushing. During their first real battle against another chuunin team from an enemy country, Nanako showed her true self. What she lacked in talent, she made up for in will. The enemy chuunin were stronger than Ruuji’s team, and managed to overpower them at first. However, no matter how much the enemy chuunin would beat her up, she would continue to fight, eventually defeating one of the chuunin. As the other three were dumbfound, Ruuji and Nanako used their surprise to their advantage and finished the three while they were still wondering what the hell was going on. Seeing Nanako’s strong will, he started to respect her. As the two big talkers could do nothing but cower in fear against the superior enemies, this event triggered Ruuji’s belief that only during a fight ones true self would emerge. This made him think even higher of combat, viewing it as a test for mankind. He also came to respect strong-willed people in general.

Nanako gained Ruuji’s respect, and the two worked together flawlessly. Nanako in turn was fond of Ruuji for being the first person ever to respect her. The two became close friends, among the other chuunin there were even rumors about a romance, although this was never confirmed by any of them. This came to an end however, when Nanako died in combat. The four of them were on a mission when they were ambushed by an enemy. Ruuji and the other two got away, but Nanako didn’t survive. Most people predicted that Ruuji would be sad, but “disappointed” turned out to fit the description much better. Nanako had failed the test after all, and was in Ruuji’s eyes no more than average from that day on.

When he was seventeen, the massacre against Kekkei Genkai users started. Later in his life, Ruuji would describe this event as one of the most beautiful times of his life. Since Kekkai Genkai users are skilled in general, depending on how adept they are with their Kekkai Genkai, he fought a lot of powerful opponents. It also earned him a lot of respect from the village.

Jounin: Ruuji became a jounin at twenty years age. During this time he had gained a lot of the elders respect for the many missions he successfully finished, and his achievements in the extermination of Kekkai Genkai users. He was also noted for his great skill on the battlefield, becoming absorbed completely in combat. For four years he managed to keep up his reputation. However one day, during another battlefield, Ruuji came across a very powerful opponent, a Kekkai Genkai wielder who had the ability to conver chakra to pure energy. The man was known for being able to kill ANBU, and was very skilled. Ruuji managed to win, but becoming so absorbed by combat he ruthlessly killed a number of genin in the process by attacking the enemy even though the genin were clearly in the way. Ruuji was sent to prison for killing his fellow shinobi.

Ruuji was sentenced for ten years. After that, he wouldn’t be allowed to become a shinobi anymore, thus seemingly ending his career. Not all was as it seemed, however. A secret research team, led by an advisor of the Mizukage, a man named Akumo, had started experimenting on shinobi, modifying their bodies in order to give them more power. This team was founded secretly and behind the Mizukage’s back. The goal was to create a group of powerful, modified shinobi that Akumo would use to attempt a Coup d'etat. The research facility was hidden underground, the entrance hidden somewhere in Akumo’s mansion.

In order to gain test subjects, Akumo would bribe several corrupt prison guards. These prison guards would smuggle prisoners to the research facility. There, the prisoners would be locked in another cell not much bigger than their old one, the only moment they would leave being when they were required for testing. Ruuji was among these prisoners. After doing various experiments on him, the researchers had altered Ruuji's body in order to give him a new range of abilities. Ruuji had gained a more lizard-like appearance, with a pale skin, yellow eyes and an extendable tongue. He also had four arms and a tail.

After the experiments, the researchers placed Ruuji in a small arena together with three jounin-leveled shinobi who had also undergone various body-altering experiments. This was to test which modification was the most effective. The four nin were to have a free for all fight to the death. Ruuji was the only survivor, and thus the most successful experiment. The researchers continued testing Ruuji, watching his progress. Ruuji quickly developed an own fighting style that involved using taijutsu and ninjutsu at the same time. It also allowed him to cast jutsu much quicker, as handseals are done twice as fast with four hands.

As long as Ruuji was allowed to fight, he had no reason to complain. It didn’t take long for the researchers to create a new, improved method of altering bodies.. A few weeks after receiving his new body , Ruuji was told that he would return to the prison because the researchers needed a new test subject, and he was basically outdated. Refusing to go back to boring prison life, Ruuji killed the ten researchers and fled the hidden village itself. On his way out, Ruuji mercilessly killed any shinobi that tried to stop him, no matter what rank they were. In total, about thirty people were killed, ten researchers and twenty shinobi, a combination of genin, chuunin and jounin. His actions were not all bad, however, as when the village’s shinobi followed Ruuji trail of destruction, they discovered the research facility hidden in Akumo’s mansion. Akumo himself wasn’t present during Ruuji’s outbreak. He and everyone linked to the group were arrested and sent to jail.

Missing-nin: Ruuji was branded a missing-nin for his actions, and started traveling the Shinobi world looking for powerful opponents. He would usually seek out places that were going through war, offering his services. Although some places refused to employ a rogue ninja, Ruuji got a decent amount of jobs, allowing him to experience the thrill of battle once more. He became quite renown in a short time, as his abilities on the battlefield were remarkable. He later joined Otogakure, who welcomed him and offered him in the sound four for his fighting prowess.

Making their way to the Land of the Forests, Rouji could already feel his heart beating faster in excitement. His target was said to be one of the most powerful Jinjuriki, and the S-ranked criminal was looking forward to the fight. He had fought Jinjuriki andBijuu before, and he could tell that nothing –absolutely nothing- could compare to the thrill of fighting such a magnificent killing machine. The overwhelming chakra, along with the idea that every wrong move could lead to a timely death, was almost like a drug.

With that thought, the two cloaked figures leaped through the trees closing in on the border. A lone traveler, seated on top of a cart pulled by a pair of donkeys over a sandy path, noticed the two people jump from the sea of trees to the right of the path to the sea of trees to the left, covering the thin line of treeless ground with one jump. Both the man and the donkey raised an eyebrow. An odd sight it must be, two people in their black and red cloaks jumping around like their life depended on it. Ignorance is bliss, because if the man knew who those two actually were, he would surely cower in fear. Both were wanted criminals of the S-rank, immensely powerful and probably wanted for terrible deeds in their respective former villages.

After a long silence, Rouji suddenly spoke to his partner. “Oi, if it’s possible, please let me handle this fight. If I happen to die, the Bijuu will be weakened enough for you to finish anyway..” Rouji’s partner simply replied “Do you have a death wish? This guy is said to be very strong, even for our standards.”

Rouji simply smiled. He was used to this. Some people would think of him as a fool, but to Rouji a fight was no fun if it didn’t put his life to the line. This he said to his partner, to which the other person simply replied “Knock yourself out then. But don’t come begging me for help..” Rouji’s smile broadened. “I won’t.. I absolutely won’t..”
